I’m pretty sure that ‘Enterprise’ is at the heart of the economic, structural, social and overall well-being of communities around the world.
Who owns Enterprise? Government, The Corporates, SME’s, Individuals?
In checking, I found that, Enterprise may be defined as “A project or undertaking, especially a Bold or Complex one” and/or “A willingness to undertake new ventures. Initiative.”
So it is possible that none of us ‘owns’ it but we all need it and the results that come as a collective benefit, occur when those that have it, work together.
Can the Federal Government succeed if the States don’t have it? Can the major Corporates succeed if their suppliers and staff don’t have it? Have we, as a nation, been languishing too long, waiting for someone else’s enterprise to lift us? What is South Australia waiting for?
Let’s all be bolder, move willingly to undertake, coping with the complex and always be enterprising.
