Where there is a will, there is a way
I recall when I was seven or eight years of age – my Grandfather wrote in my autograph book (alongside names like Frank Sedgman, Ken McGregor and plenty of Mighty Tigers), “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”.
I believe today, no less than then, that his words were custom made for me, and of course for many others.
Without the “will” a “way” may not naturally emerge. Having the “will” gives the “way” a chance to evolve, to be modified, to be reviewed until perfected.
In fields wildly apart the Socceroos need a “will” to find the “way” no more or less than we, negotiating a tricky pathway to purchase or sale need the “will” to make the “way”.
No more than a quality business needs the “will” to find the “way” to new product, new clients and new and better performance, adding value to the business along the way.
My Grandfather, over 100 years ago, had the “will” to leave the cold and filthy collieries of Wales to cross the world on his “way” to a new and productive life for his wife and three small children.
“Where there is a will, there is a way”.
