Shanghai investment delegation April 2013
Succession Plus clients will be aware that we have been working with David Thomas and his team at Think Global Consulting to develop relationships with Chinese investors and entrepreneurs who are interested in exploring business and investment opportunities in Australia. We expect this to lead to opportunities to match up these investors with our clients who are seeking investment for business expansion, growth or exit.
David has suggested that some of our clients join his trade and business delegation to the Australia China Business Week in Shanghai (10 – 12 April 2013) a highly targeted, focused and cost effective method of meeting, networking and pitching your projects, companies and investment opportunities to motivated Chinese investors with an interest in Australia.
Now in its sixth year, ACBW 2013, provides a unique platform for Australian businesses who are seeking a path to success in China, as well as Chinese entrepreneurs wishing to engage directly with their counterparts in Australia. As Chairman of the ACBW, David will design and facilitate a strategic platform to encourage and promote the Sino-Australian trade and investment relationship with a particular focus on Australia’s key sectors for Asia such as: Food and Agriculture, Healthcare and Biotech, Technology, Clean Energy, Education, Tourism and Financial Services.
Presented over two days and supported by Austrade and AustCham Shanghai, ACBW 2013 Shanghai incorporates six high profile functions providing excellent networking opportunities such as: ACBW Breakfast, Forum, China Day Forum, Luncheon, Showcase, Mix at Six Networking Function and Business Matching Sessions.
Delegates will visit Shanghai, China’s economic and financial services centre and one of the most important destinations for foreign companies in China. We will also visit Hangzhou, an important and wealthy second tier city with a rising consumer market and a famous tourism destination.
Participants will gain comprehensive business insights into developing trade and investment opportunities in China, an in-depth knowledge of China’s commercial and cultural environment for effective business engagement, and the opportunity to connect with local companies, business leaders, entrepreneurs and high net worth investors based in Shanghai and Hangzhou.
If you are interested in joining the delegation ( we will certainly be attending and would love some of our clients looking at expansion capital or a potential investor buyer to join us ) please contact Craig West or Linda Sirol to discuss next steps.
