Last night as I travelled on the freeway out of Melbourne, the massive developments of apartments in Docklands and Southgate naturally caught my eye.  Over the Bolte Bridge and fantastically illuminated, was the Melbourne Star – the giant viewing wheel not unlike the London Eye.

The cab driver knew all about it – every last detail; cost; duration; range; number of people it carries; who made it – his knowledge was outstanding.

Q:  How did he know all this?

A:  Every cab driver in Melbourne with their families had been invited for a free ride.
